About Karyn Caldwell

Karyn Caldwell has been the owner of Caldwell Designs in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire for over 20 years. She is an accomplished designer and creator of fine window treatments.
Karyn has extensive knowledge and experience with fabrics having started sewing at the age of 12 to alter her clothes to the latest fashion. While Karyn studied Fashion Design at the Fashion Institute of Technology, New York, in the late 70's, she continued her education in Window fashions as a WCAA Certified Window Treatment Consultant and a D&WC Associate of Interior Fashions. In working for NYC fashion designers and later as a designer for the “Limited” she learned about the design and production of clothing and brings these skills and dressmaker details to her window treatments. Karyn's work with the “Limited” offered an opportunity to travel to Asia to oversee production and now travels for inspiration from Art Deco buildings in Norway, to costumes at the Lincoln Center Ballet. She continues her eduction by attending webinars, classes and trade shows such as the International Interior Design Show the 'Masion & Object' Pairs in 2010. Karyn brings this wealth of knowledge and experience to her Creative Solutions for Windows.
